PREMIER SHREDDING - LICENCES AND INSURANCE
It is important that anyone you trust to dispose of your sensitive waste is fully licensed and insured to run a document and data destruction service. Don't take any risks and ask for evidence to show that they are bonafide contractors. Premier Shredding complies with all legal requirements for running a secure waste destruction and disposal service.
- Waste Carrier Licence. A Waste Carrier Licence is required by law for any business that carries waste in the course of their business
- Environmental Protection Act - Exemption Certificate. Under the Environmental Protection Act certain businesses are exempt from being registered as a waste transfer station. In these cases an Exemption Certificate is required
- Goods Vehicle Operators Licence - Page 1 and Page 2. Any business that uses a heavy goods vehicle to carry goods requires a Goods Vehicle Operators Licence
- Certificate of Employers Liability Insurance - Page 1 and Page 2. By law, an employer must have employers liability insurance and be insured for at leat £5 million
- Data Protection Act. Under the Data Protection Act all companies holding personal data must be registrered. You can check our entry at the Data Protection Public Register
